'Uriel deserved to stay,' Viewers slam BBNaija All Stars jury system as Seyi survives eviction again

Nigerians have taken to social media to slam the jury system introduced in the Big Brother Naija All Stars edition, after Seyi one of the housemates, survived eviction despite having the least amount of votes for the second week in a row.

In the Sunday eviction show, Seyi and Uriel were pitted against each other after racking up the least number of votes.

However, as was the case last week when Seyi and Princess made the bottom two, and Princess, despite having more votes than Seyi, got evicted, Uriel got evicted on Sunday despite having more votes than Seyi.

Many took offence when the latest jury consisting of Laycon, Teddy A and Diane Russet toed the line of the previous jury to have Seyi, who again scored the least number of votes, saved on the show.

Many claimed Uriel didn’t deserve the eviction compared to Seyi, calling for an end to the jury system.

Commenting on the development, an X user, NNAMDI KANAGA SINCLAIR, @nnamdikanaga, said, “These jury members, do they even watch this show? On what basis are judgements made? This is just terrible abeg.”

Another user, Prom Prom, @effizzzyy, said, “This Jury thingy is total nonsense. There’s no way Uriel should be leaving before Seyi. Total nonsense.”

Another user, KAC, @kingz_auto, said Big brother is trash with this jury shii. #bbnaijaAllstars . Uriel deserves to stay than seyi.”

On her part, JuJu, @Naijasinglegirl said, “Twice in a row, the voters and housemates have shown they don’t want Seyi in that house.

“God punish the present and past jury. Nonsense.”
