Ololade Akorede (Korede), wife of the late Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer OJB Jezreel, remarried her lover seven (7) years after the death of her beloved husband.
The Witness Nigeria reports that Ololade Akorede alias Korede re-married some days ago to Mr Kehinde Olaitan Iyowun-Awi. Her late husband Babatunde Okungbowa a.k.a. OJB Jezreel was born on July 4, 1966, in Lagos to Chief Anthony Okungbowa & Isabella Abiodun Okungbowa died of kidney disease on June 14, 2016.
Babatunde music production standout, different from his competitors, his production skills was way out of the league of his peers. OJB Jezreel was also a singer and multi-instrumentalist.
In 2023, he was flown outside the country for a surgery for a kidney transplant and this took place in India. We can recall that the surgery was successful and he was flown back to Nigeria with one of his wives, the one who donated one of her kidneys to him.
Narrating on how Ololade met OJB, Korede a popular dancer and one of the three wives of the late music executive told City People years back that as a professional dancer, “I worked with a lot of music stars like Rugged man, Jazz man Olofin, and Tuface Idibia.
OJB is so accommodating when he was alive, an area in his home was use as his personal studio where they all meet and hang out “.
Her marriage took place days ago, and after the marriage she want to be addressed as Korede Iyowu, wife of Kehinde Olaitan Iyowun-awi.
