Edison Ehie, the former majority leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, has emerged the new Speaker of the state Assembly.
The development follows the impeachment of Hon. Martin Amaewhule as the speaker of the House.
Meanwhile, the Chief Judge of Rivers State, Simeon Amadi has been suspended.
