Factional speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Barr) Ehie Edison, has resigned his position.
Edison also resigned his position as member representing Ahoada East Constituency II in the assembly.
This is coming weeks after President Bola Tinubu intervened in the political crisis in the state and came up with some resolutions.
Among the resolution was the reinstatement of the former speaker of the house.
The lawmaker did not give any reason for his resignation.
