Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The self-acclaimed “Mummy of Lagos” was in April 2024 sentenced to a six-month jail term by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos over Naira abuse.
The judge, who sentenced Bobrisky without an option of fine, said his sentence would serve as a lesson for others abusing the Naira notes.
The social media celebrity was released on Monday morning.
In a video sighted by our correspondent on X.com, Bobrisky was seen greeting his fans who came to welcome him.
