Biography

Hannatu Musawa is a native of Katsina state in Northern Nigeria , her father is a former politician Alhaji Musa Musawa. Hannatu is a lawyer, politician, writer and former deputy spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign team.

After working as a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, she is a professional lawyer in England, Wales, UK.

Education Background Of  Hannatu Musawa

Hannatu Musawa comes from a wealthy Muslim family and is a Hausa/Fulani tribe. She studied Law at Buckingham University, United Kingdom; and holds a master’s degree in maritime law from Cardiff University, Wales; and a degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland .

She is also a qualified lawyer in England and Wales, UK; a member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, as well as a barrister and solicitor of the supreme court of Nigeria.

Professional career of Hannatu Musawa

With her extensive work experience in Nigeria and the UK , Musawa has established herself as a leading legal practitioner. She has worked with various firms, and is the Senior Partner of her law firm, Hanney Musawa and Associates.

Hannatu worked as a trial lawyer and legal consultant for the private sector, she worked for the Late Chief Akpamgbo law firm. Hannatu founded the company Hanney Musawa & associates.

Meanwhile, she currently serves as Spokesperson to the All Progressive Congress’ {APC}.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Hannatu Musa Musawa as a special adviser on the economy, culture and entertainment. The Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Willie Bassey, announced the appointment in a statement on June 19, 2023. together with the appointment of Hannatu Musawa as a special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on the economy and culture.

Net Worth                                         

Findings reveal that she is currently worth over one million dollars, and many assets to her name.
