Youths under the aegis of Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), have declared support for the recommendation of Hon. Ja’afaru Sani for Ministerial appointment from Kaduna State.

The declaration was made at the weekend after the group’s meeting in Abuja.

In a statement signed by Amb. Umaru Bala Babayaro, Chief of Staff, to YAN’s National Speaker, (YAN), the group stated that, “It is pertinent to place on record that Nigeria needs the experience and wherewithal of Hon. Ja’afaru Sani at this particular point in time because of his versatility and accomplishments both in the academic circle and the public service.”

They said, “Indeed records have shown that Hon. Ja’afaru Sani was one of the longest serving members of the State Executive Council in Kaduna State. As a former Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Education, Science and Technology as well as Environment and Natural Resources. He introduced lots of reforms that turned around the fortunes of local government administration on one hand and the educational advancement of the people of Kaduna State on the other hand.”

“As a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development, capacity building and development programmes for the overall growth and development of his people are always his watchword.”

“In the light of the foregoing, we extend our support for the recommendation of Hon. Ja’afaru Sani by Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai, indeed it’s something to go by, and then, we state emphatically that he’s a round peg in the round hole.”

“We call on His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria not to hesitate in nominating this gentleman to serve as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

The group commended former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai for recommending Mr Sani.

“We commend Mallam Nasir El-Rufai who for having “eyes for talents” and he is well known for fetching out best brain to deliver on bulky task for the overall interest of the nation.”

“The Former Governor of Kaduna State understands the task ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which requires people like Hon. Jafaru Sani because leadership is never a bed of roses. It a stage for implementing ideas into actions.” The group stressed.
