Ekperipe Epo is a well known Nigerian politician. He served in Aba, Etim Epo, Ika House of Representative, National assembly from May 2007 to May 2011, and he was succeeded by Emmanuel Bartholomew Ekon. He was the akwa-ibom democratic forum’s (ADF) Director General.
In July, He was nominated to serve as Nigeria’s minister of State [gas] petroleum resources. He is well known for his active engagement in politics and community development, owning to his devotedness to Christianity.

His early years were affected by his native surroundings and cultural background. He attended a village school where the background for his educational career was laid. He earned a degree and gained information and skills that would serve as stepping stone for his future career in public service.
His political career began in 2022 when he was elected as the APC senatorial candidate for Akwa-Ibom North West senatorial district. Prior to this, he served in the national assembly as a member of the Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal constituency from 2007 to 2011.
