Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino have parted company by mutual consent.
The head coach’s reign has come to an end after a season on the job.
Pochettino, who led Chelsea to sixth place, had enjoyed a strong end to the campaign but could not see eye-to-eye with the owners, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
Chelsea’s sporting directors, Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, said in a statement that, “On behalf of everyone at Chelsea, we would like to express our gratitude to Mauricio for his service this season.
“He will be welcome back to Stamford Bridge any time and we wish him all the very best in his future coaching career.”
